Tantalus School Field Trip Policy
We acknowledge and support the Yukon Field Trip Policy.
Tantalus School will add the following conditions, pertinent to our classes and students in high school:
1. If a student misses 10 days of school per term, unexcused, they will not be going on a field trip.
2. To be considered for a field trip, students must show the following:

Tantalus School will add the following conditions, pertinent to our classes and students in high school:
1. If a student misses 10 days of school per term, unexcused, they will not be going on a field trip.
2. To be considered for a field trip, students must show the following:
- a. Have an excellent and positive attitude toward staff and fellow students:
- b. Follow school rules.
- c. Follow the attendance policy.
- d. No smoking on school property. No drugs or alcohol on school property. Vandalism, violence against anyone, shoplifting, and other illegal and/or inappropriate acts will remove students from or prevent them from going on field trips.
- e. Students come to school ready for work, and are not stoned or inebriated in any way.
- f. Students who show up only for field trips, but have otherwise bad attendance, will not be allowed on the trip.
- a. There will be zero tolerance for students smoking, using drugs, or using alcohol. Vandalism, violence against anyone, shoplifting, and other illegal and/or inappropriate acts will remove students from field trips.
- b. Students will respect the teachers and other staff members and parents attending the field trip.
- c. Students who show up only for field trips, but have otherwise bad attendance will not be allowed on the trip.
